The Model life and the believer's tikvah (hope)

Abstaining fornication, love for Achim, Relations to others; the truth about being caught up

4:1 Furthermore then we beseech you, my achim, and exhort [you] by Adonay Yeshua (ישוע), that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please Elohim, [so] that you increasingly do more.

4:2 For ye know what mitzvot we gave to you in Yeshua (ישוע) Adoneinu.

4:3 For this is the will of Elohim, [even] your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication:

4:4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

4:5 Not in the lustful passion, even as the Goyim which know not Elohim:

4:6 That no [man] should transgress and take advantage of his brother in the matter because Adonay [is] the avenger  in these things, of all such, as we also solemnly forewarned you.

4:7 For Elohim hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto set apartness.

4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but Elohim, who hath also given unto us his Ruach Ha Kodesh.

4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of Elohim to love one another.

4:10 And indeed ye do it toward all the achim which are in all Makedonia: but we beseech you, my achim, that ye increase more and more;

4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

4:12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and [that] ye may have lack of nothing.

What happen when believer dies?

About Moshiach's return

4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, my achim, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no tikvah.

4:14 For if we believe that Yeshua (ישוע) died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yeshua (ישוע) will Elohim bring with him.

4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of Adonay, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of Adonay shall not prevent them which are asleep.

4:16 For Adonay himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the shofar blast of Elohim: and the dead in Moshiach shall rise first:

4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet Adonay in the air: and so shall we ever be with Adonay.

4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
