UVoaz alah hashaar vayeshev sham vehineh hagoel over asher diber-Boaz vayomer surah shevah-poh peloni almoni vayasar vayeshev:

Then went Bo'az up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the Go'el of whom Bo'az spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.

Vayikakh asarah anashim miziknei hair vayomer shevu-foh vayesheu:

And he took ten men of the zekenim (elders) of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down.

Vayomer lagoel khelkat hasadeh asher leakhinu leElimelekh makhrah Naomi hashavah misdeh Moav:

And he said unto the Go'el (kinsman), Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moav, selleth a parcel of land, which [was] our brother Elimelekh's:

Vaani amarti egleh aznekha lemor keneh neged hayshvim veneged ziknei ami im-tigal geal veim-lo yigal hagidah li veeda ki ein zulatkha ligol veanokhi akhareikha vayomer anokhi egal:

And I thought to advertise thee, saying:

"Kanah (buy) [it] before the inhabitants, and before the zekenim of my people. If thou wilt ga'al (redeem) [it], redeem [it]: but if thou wilt not redeem [it, then] tell me, that I may know: for [there is] none to redeem [it] beside thee; and I [am] after thee. And he said, I will redeem [it].

Vayomer Boaz beyom-kenotkha hasadeh miyad Naomi umeet Rut haMoaviyah eshet-hamet kanitai lehakim shem-hamet al-nakhalato:

Then said Bo'az, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of No`omiy (נעמי), thou must buy [it] also of Rut (רות) ha Moaviyah, the wife of the dead, to kum (raise up) the name of the dead upon his nachalah (inheritance).

Vayomer hagoel lo ukhal ligavl-li pen-ashkhit et-nakhalati geal-lekha atah et-geulati ki lo-ukhal ligol:

And the Go'el said:

"I cannot ga'al (redeem) [it] for myself, lest I mar mine own nachalah: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem [it]".

Vezot lefanim beYisrael al-hageulah veal-hatemura lekayem kol-davar shalaf ish naalo venatan lereehu vezot hateudah beYisrael

Now this [was the manner] in former time in Yisrael concerning geulah (redeeming) and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave [it] to his neighbour: and this [was] a testimony in Yisrael.

Vayomer hagoel leVoaz keneh-lakh vayishlof naalo:

Therefore the Go'el said unto Bo'az, Buy [it] for thee. So he drew off his shoe.

Vayomer Boaz lazkenim vekhol-haam edim atem hayom ki kaniti et-kol-asher leElimelekh veet kol-asher leKhilyon uMakhlon miyad Naomi

And Bo'az said unto the zekenim (elders), and [unto] all the people, Ye [are] witnesses this day, that I have bought all that [was] Elimelekh's, and all that [was] Kilyon (כּליו)'s and Machlon (מחלון)'s, of the hand of No`omiy (נעמי).

Vegam et-Rut haMoaviyah eshet Makhlon kaniti li leishah lehakim shem-hamet al-nakhalato velo-yikaret shem-hamet meim ekhav umishaar mekomo edim atem hayom:

Moreover Rut (רות) ha Moaviyah, the wife of Machlon (מחלון), have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his nachalah (inheritance), that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye [are] witnesses this day.

Vayomru kol-haam asher-bashaar vehazekenim edim yiten YEHOVAH et-haishah habah el-beitekha keRakhel ukheLeah asher banu sheteihem et-Beit Yisrael vaaseh-khayil beEfratah ukera-shem beVeit Lakhem

And all the people that [were] in the gate, and the zekenim, said, [We are] witnesses:

YHWH (יהוה) make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the beit Yisrael: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Beit Lechem:

Vihi vetkha keVeit Peretz asher-yaldah Tamar lihudah min-hazera asher yiten YEHOVAH lekha min-hanaarah hazot:

And let thy house be like the Bayit Peretz (פּרץ), whom Tamar (תּמר) bare unto Yehudah, of the seed which YHWH (יהוה) shall give thee of this young woman.

Vayikakh Boaz et-Rut vatehi-lo leishah vayavo eleiha vayiten YEHOVAH laherayon vateled ben

So Bo'az took Rut, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, YHWH (יהוה) gave her conception, and she bare a son.

Vatomarnah hanashim el-Naomi Varukh YEHOVAH asher lo hishbit lakh goel hayom veyikare shemo beYisrael:

And the women said unto No`omiy (נעמי):

Baruch YHWH, which hath not left thee this day without a Go'el, that his name may be famous in Yisrael.

Vehayah lakh lemeshiv nefesh ulekhalkel et-seivatekh ki khalatekh asher-ahevatekh yeladatu asher-hitovah lakh mishivah banim:

And he shall be unto thee a meshuva (restorer) of [thy] nefesh (soul), and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy kallah, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven banim (sons), hath born him.

Vatikakh Naomi et-hayeled vateshitehu vekheikah vatehi-lo leomenet:

And Noami took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.

Vatikrenah lo hashekhenot shem lemor yulad-ben leNaomi vatikrenah shemo Oved hu avi-Yishai avi David

And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Noami; and they called his name Oved: he [is] the father of Yishai, the father of David.

Verse 18-22 is sung Toldot Peretz

Ve Oved holid et-Yishai ve Yishai holid et-David

And Oved begat Yishai, and Yishai begat David.

Minyan / מנין / Minyanim (Pl)- a quorum of ten or more adult (over the age of Bar Mitzvah) male Jews for the purpose of communal Jewish services (prayer); a minyan is usually held within a synagogue, but may be (and often is) held elsewhere, usually a home or place of work. The word minyan comes from the Hebrew root moneh מונה meaning to count or to number (based on the requirement of 10 men to be in attendance). The word is related to the Aramaic word mene, numbered, appearing in the writing on the wall in Daniel 5:25.
