Resurrection from the dead is one of the foundation of faith in Judaism. It is very essential.

Rambam says in his 13 fundamental Principles of Jewish belief.

"Ani ma'amim be'emunah sh'leimah, she-tiheyeh techiyat hammetim be'eit she-ya'aleh ratzon me'eit ha-borei yitbarakh sh'mo v'yitalleh zikharo la'ad uleneitsach netsachim."

"I believe with complete faith that there will be a resurrection of the dead when the Creator so wills, blessed be His Name and exalted be His remembrance forever and for all eternity."

"Resurrection of the dead" is one of the key beliefs that distinguished the Pharisees from Sadducees in the Second Temple Era and distinguishes the Orthodox Judaism and Karaites Judaism.

There are many references of "Resurrection of the dead" in the book of the Prophets, in Midrash, and daily prayers. Even the resurrection of the Suffering Servant, the Mashiach Ben Yosef, is described in Jewish literature.

In Messianic Judaism, the resurrection of Yeshua is one of our most treasured truths. He is the first harvest of the great resurrection (Reishit Katzir). One day we will experience it when King Messiah comes.

His resurrection is an access to the World to Come (Olam haba).

on the 17 Nisan, we celebrate "Yom HaTekiah" (Resurrection Day) of our Messiah, Yeshua.
