The Model life and the believer's tikvah (hope)
Abstaining fornication, love for Achim, Relations to others; the truth about being caught up
4:1 Finally then, Achim, we urge and exhort in the Master Yeshua (ישוע) that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please Elohim;
4:2 For you know what mitzvot we gave to you in Master Yeshua (ישוע) .
4:3 For this is the will of Elohim, [even] your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication:
4:4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
4:5 not in passion of lust, like the goyim who do not know Elohim:
4:6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Master is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.
4:7 For Elohim has not called us to uncleanness, but to set apartness.
4:8 Consequently, the one who rejects this does not reject man, but Elohim, who has also given us His Ruach ha Kodesh.
4:9 But as touching brotherly love you need not that I write to you: for you yourselves are taught of Elohim to love one another.
4:10 And indeed you do it toward all the achim which are in all Makedonia: but we beseech you, my achim, that you increase more and more;
4:11 And that you study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
4:12 That you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and [that] you may have lack of nothing.
What happen when believer dies?
4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, my achim, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no tikvah.
4:14 For if we believe that Yeshua (ישוע) died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yeshua (ישוע) will Elohim bring with him.
4:15 For this we say to you by the word of Master, that we which are alive [and] remain to the coming of Master shall not prevent them which are asleep.
4:16 For Master himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the shofar blast of Elohim: and the dead in Mashiach shall rise first:
4:17 Then we who are alive, who are left behind, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air—and so we shall always be with the Master.
4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
