1:1 Paulos (Παῦλος), and Silouanos (Σιλουανός), and Timotheos (Τιμόθεος), to the assembly of the Thessalonikeus in **Elohim / Eloah (אלהים) Avinu and Adon Yehoshua (יהושע) ha Mashiach:
1:2 Grace to you, and shalom, from **Elohim / Eloah (אלהים) Avinu and Adon Yehoshua (יהושע) ha Mashiach.
1:3 We ought always to give thanks to **Elohim / Eloah (אלהים)for you, my achim, as it is right, because that your faith grows exceedingly, and the ahavah (agape) of every one of you all abound toward each other;
1:4 So that we ourselves also boast about you in the assemblies of **Elohim / Eloah (אלהים) for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure:
1:5 [Which is] a manifest token of the righteous judgment of **Elohim / Eloah (אלהים), that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of **Elohim / Eloah (אלהים), for which you also suffer:
1:6 Seeing [it is] a righteous thing with **Elohim / Eloah (אלהים) to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
1:7 And to you who are troubled rest (relief) with us, when Adon Yehoshua (יהושע) ha Mashiach shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers,
1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not **Elohim / Eloah (אלהים), and that obey not the good news of Yehoshua (יהושע) ha Mashiach Adoneinu:
1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of Adon, and from the glory of His power;
1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in His set apart ones, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our **Elohim / Eloah (אלהים) would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and the work of faith with power:
1:12 That the Name of Yehoshua (יהושע) ha Mashiach Adoneinu may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our **Elohim / Eloah (אלהים); and Adon Yehoshua (יהושע) ha Mashiach.
**Elohim / Eloah (אלהים) / (Ahla) = Theos θεός
