The Dialogue of Mashiach with Nakdimon. The Midrash and Immersion (Tevilah טבילה ) of Yochanan, and what witness he bears of Mashiach. The first discourse (chronologically) of Yeshua that was recorded in the Brit Chadashah
The
Message of Regeneration, rebirth and new birth
'achad haPerushim mimanhigei haYehudim, Nakdimon shemo,
There was a certain man of the Perushim (פְּרוּשִׁים) , named Nakdimon, a leader member of the Sanhedrin among the Yehudim:
3:2
Ba el Yeshua balaylah ve'amar elav. "Rabi, anachnu yode'im ki me'et Elohim bata lihyot moreh, sheharei ein ish yachol la'asot et vha'otot she'atah oseh ela im ken g'elohim ito.
This man
came to Yeshua (יֵשׁוּע) by night, and said to Him, "Rabi, we know that You have come from Elohim (אלהים) as a teacher: for no man can
do these signs that You do unless Elohim (אלהים) is with him.
3:3
Heshiv Yeshua ve'amar elav. "Amen Amen ANI omer lecha, im lo yivaled adam milma'lah, vlo yuchal lir'ot et Malchut ha'Elohim.
Yeshua (יֵשׁוּע) answered him, “Amen, amen I say to you, unless one is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of Elohim.”Sha'al Nakdimon. "eich yachol adam lehivaled bihyoto zaken? ha'im hu yachol lehikanes shenit lerechem imo ulehivaled
Nakdimon (נַקְדִּימוֹן) said to him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and
be born?
3:5
Heshiv Yeshua. "Amen Amen ANI omer lecha, im lo yivaled ish min hamayim vehaRuach vlo yuchal lehikanes leMalchut ha'Elohim.
Yeshua (יֵשׁוּע) answered, “Amen, amen I say to you, unless one is born of water
and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of Elohim.
Hanolad min-habasar basar hu vehanolad min-haRuach Ruach hu.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Ruach is Spirit.
3:7
'al titmah al she'omer ani lecha ki aleichem lehivaled milma'lah.
Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.HaRuach noshevet heichan shehi rotzah ve'et kolah atah shomea', ach einecha yodea me'ayin hi ba'ah ule'an hi holechet. Kach kol mi shenolad min haRuach.
"The wind blows where it wills, and you hear its sound, but you do not know from where it comes and where it goes. So is everyone who has been born of the Spirit."
Heshiv Nakdimon ve'amar lo. "keitzad yitachenu hadevarim ha'eleh?
Nakdimon (נַקְדִּימוֹן) answered and said to Him, How can these things be?
3:10
'Anah Yeshua ve'amar elav. "Atah moreh beYisra'el ve'einecha yodea et zt?
Yeshua (יֵשׁוּע) answered and said to him,
"Are you the teacher of Yisrael, and do not know these things?
3:11
Amen Amen ANI omer lecha, et asher anu yode'im anachnu medaberim ve'et asher ra'inu al zeh anachnu me'idim, ve'et v'edutenu einechem mekabelim.
Amen, Amen, I say to you:
We speak about what We know and testify about what We have seen. Yet you all do not receive Our testimony!
'im be'ameri lachem devarim me'inyenei ha'aretz einechem ma'aminim, eich ta'aminu im mar lachem devarim me'inyenei hashamayim?
If I have told you earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you [of] heavenly things?
No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.
Uchemo shehigbiah Mosheh et hanachash bamidbar, kach tzarich vosheyuram Ben-ha'Adam
And as Mosheh lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
3:15 לְמַעַן יִהְיוּ אחַיֵּי עוֹלָם לְכָל בהַמַּאֲמִין בּוֹ;
Lema'an yihyu chayei olam lechol vhama'amin bo;
That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
3:16
For Elohim (אֱלֹהִים) so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For Elohim (אֱלֹהִים) did not send His Son into the world so that He might condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Hama'amin bo einenu nidon. Mi she'einenu ma'amin kevar nidon, mipenei shelo he'emin beshem vBen-ha'Elohim hayachid.
"He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of Elohim.
Vezehu hadin. Ha'or ba el ha'Olam uvenei ha'adam ahavu et hachoshech yoter min ha'or, ki vra'im hayu ma'aseihem.
And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the light, because their works were evil.
Kol oseh avlah sonei et ha'or ve'eino ba el ha'or pen yuchechu ma'asav.
For everyone that does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works be exposed.
'ulam oseh ha'emet ba el ha'or lema'an vyigalu ma'asav ki na'asu b'Elohim.
But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in Elohim (אֱלֹהִים).
'Acharei hadevarim ha'eleh ba Yeshua im Talmidav le'eretz Yehudah vesham shahah imahem vhitbil.
After these things came Yeshua (יֵשׁוּע) and his Talmidim into the eretz Yehudah; and there he tarried with
them, and immersed.
3:23 גַּם איוֹחָנָן הָיָה מַטְבִּיל בְּעֵינוֹן עַל־יַד שָׁלֵם, שֶׁכֵּן מַיִם רַבִּים הָיוּ שָׁם וְהָאֲנָשִׁים בָּאוּ בוְנִטְבְּלוּ;
Gam Yochanan hayah matbil be'Einon al-yad Shalem, sheken mayim rabim hayu sham veha'anashim ba'u vnitbelu;
And Yochanan also was immersing in Einayim near to Shalem, because
there was much water there: and they came, and were immersed.
Zot od lifnei shehushlach Yochanan lakele.
For Yochanan was not yet cast into prison.
Vikuach hechel bein talmidei Yochanan levein parush echad benogea vlatohorah.
Then there arose a question between [some] of Yochanan's
Talmidim and the Yehudim about the subject of tohorah (purification).
Ba'u el Yochanan ve'ameru lo. "Rabi, ha'ish asher hayah itecha vbe'ever haYarden va'asher ghe'adta alav, hinehu matbil vehakl ba'im elav.
And they came to Yochanan and said to him, "Rabi, He who was with
you on the other side the Yarden, to whom you have testified--behold, this Man
is immersing, and all men are coming to Him!
3:27
Yochanan answered and said:
A man can receive only
what is given them from Shamayim.
'Atem atzmechem edim li she'amarti, ''eineni haMashiach, ela shaluach ani lefanav.

"He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the voice of the bridegroom. Therefore my joy has been fulfilled.
Min hahechreach shehu yelech veyigdal va'ani ektan.
He must increase, but I [must] decrease. He
that comes from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaks of the earth: he that comes
from Shamayim is above all.

And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony.

For he whom Elohim (אֱלֹהִים) has sent speaks the Devarim Elohim (אֱלֹהִים): for Elohim (אֱלֹהִים) gives not the Ruach by measure [to him].

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim abides on him."
Jewish perspective of understanding Rebirth, Born again (נולד מחדש) or born anew rather complex, as they uses it as a metaphor to describe the change of a person"s status from former to new status.
The following are the reason for describe as rebirth or born again of various stages of changes in status
Born again - born from above; Mashiach's kingdom can only be entered by those by faith whose lives have been changed Teshuvah and trusting in the. salvation through Master Yeshua HaMashiach alone. he receives a new nature, and is made fit for the kingdom of HaShem הי in vs 3:5 “Born of water” thus clarifies for Nakdimon that spiritual status change “born from above” means conversion, not a second physical birth. To be born of Spirit see the reference Ezekiel 36:25-27; Ezekiel 37:14 (Complete Jewish Bible)
Yosef of Ramatayim הָרָמָתַ֛יִם in Biblical times of Tenakh (1 Shemuel 1:1)(Mattityahu 27:57,
Markos 15:43, Yochanan 19:38
Loukas 23:50)
and Nakdimon
(Yochanan 3:1,
Yochanan 7:50)
were two highly placed Messianic Jews, both members of the Sanhedrin (Loukas
23:50-51,
Yochanan 7:50-52);
both secret believers. he should, after acquiring some knowledge enabling him to defend his views (1
Kefa 3:15-16), be willing to set fear aside and stand openly with Yeshua the Messiah.
Yochanan does not disparage them for hiding their faith (see Yochanan
9:22, Loukas
12:8-9).
