Vehanachash hayah arum mikol chayat hasadeh asher asah Adonai Elohim vayomer el-ha'ishah af ki-'amar Elohim lo tochelu mikol etz hagan.
Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which Adonai Elohim had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has Elohim said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”3:2 וַתֹּאמֶר הָאִשָּה אֶל-הַנָּחָש מִפְּרִי עֵץ-הַגָּן נֹאכֵל׃
Vatomer ha'ishah el-hanachash miperi etz-hagan nochel.
The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat;3:3 וּמִפְּרִי הָעֵץ אֲשֶר בְּתוֹךְ-הַגָּן אָמַר אֱלֹהִים לֹא תֹאכְלוּמִמֶּנּוּ וְלֹא תִגְּעוּ בּוֹ פֶּן תְּמֻתוּן׃
Umiperi ha'etz asher betoch-hagan amar Elohim lo tochelu mimenu velo tige'u bo pen- temutun.
but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, Elohim has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’”
3:4 And the Nachash (serpent, snake) said to the woman:
Ye shall not surely die:
3:5 For Elohim (אלהים) does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her; and he did eat.
3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
3:8 And they heard the voice of YHWH (יְהוָֹה) Elohim (אלהים) walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of YHWH (יְהוָֹה) Elohim (אלהים) amongst the trees of the garden.
And YHWH (יְהוָֹה) Elohim (אלהים) called to Adam, and said to him:
Where [are] you?
3:10 And he said:
I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I [was] naked; and I hid myself.
3:11 And HE said:
Who told you that you [wast] naked?
Have you eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded you that you shouldest not eat?
3:12 And the man said:
The woman whom you gave [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
And YHWH (יהוה) Elohim (אלהים) said to the woman:
What [is] this [that] you have done?
And the woman said:
The Nachash (serpent, snake) beguiled me, and I did eat.
And YHWH (יהוה) Elohim (אלהים) said to the Nachash (serpent, snake):
Because you have done this, you [are] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon your belly shall you go, and dust shall you eat all the days of your life:
Veeivah ashit benkha uvein haIshah uvein zarakha uvein zarah Hu yeshufkha rosh veatah teshufenu akev:
And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."
3:16 to the woman HE said:
I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in sorrow you shall bring forth children; and your desire [shall be] to your husband, and he shall rule over you.
3:17 And to Adam HE said:
Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for your sake; in sorrow shall you eat [of] it all the days of your life;
3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and you shall eat the herb of the field;
3:19 In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, till you return to the ground; for out of it wast you taken: for dust you [are], and to dust shall you return.
3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Havah (חוּה); because she was the mother of all living.
3:21 to Adam also and to his wife did YHWH (יְהוָֹה) Elohim (אלהים) make coats of skins, and clothed them.
And YHWH (יהוה) Elohim (אלהים) said:
Hinei, the man is become as one of us, to know Tov and ra'ah: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
3:23 Therefore YHWH (יְהוָֹה) Elohim (אלהים) sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Keruvim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Her seed - Women does not have seed, only the male produce seed, thus this refer to virgin birth, Yeshua does not have human father.
Adam and Eve are TemptedLuke 3:23-28; Romans 5:12 - 21; Colossians 1:14-17; 1 Timothy 2:11-15
1. "Has Elohim indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"
2. Elohim has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' "
3. The serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die.
4. For Elohim knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like Elohim, knowing good and evil."
The problem with Man Ego or Egoism - high hand
The basic problem is the sinful nature of man is that Man by nature has a soul that desire to worship (ibadat) something but on the other hand does not want Elohim to reign over him. He does not appreciate or want the high standards of spirituality and morality which Elohim requires of him. Many even denies the existance of YHWH Elohim, he has become the enemies of YHWH, man hates YHWH because he lives in darkness while YHWH Elohim is light, he does not know YHWH Elohim, he does not understand things of Divine Nature. Only when a person understands and accepts the gospel message does he, inspired by the Ruach HaKodesh, begin to have a thirst and hunger for HaShem's Word.
Man's mortal body is subject to suffering, disease; sickness of this world, worries, boredom, loneliness, aimlessness, anxiety, emptiness, insecurity. He is physical alive and Spiritually dead. The physical body will die someday and biodegraded. The soul will stay in Hades (place of suffering) until the final Judgement "the Great White Throne" Do you want to remain in such a state?
