The Incense Mizbeach (מזבּח Altar)

30:1(vii) And you shall make an Mizbeach (מזבּח Altar) to burn ketoreth (incense) upon: [of] Shittiyim (acacia שׁטּים) wood shall you make it.

30:2 A cubit (אמּה) [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits [shall be] the height thereof: the horns thereof [shall be] of the same.

30:3 And you shall overlay it with pure zahav (זהב), the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and you shall make to it a crown of zahav (זהב) round about.

30:4 And two zahav (זהב) rings shall you make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shall you make [it]; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.

30:5 And you shall make the staves [of] Shittiyim (acacia שׁטּים)  wood, and overlay them with zahav (זהב).

30:6 And you shall put it before the poreketh (פּרכvail) that [is] by the Aron Ha Edut (Ark of testimony), before the kapporet that [is] over the edut (testimony), where I will meet with you.

30:7 And Aharon shall burn thereon sweet ketoreth (incense) every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn ketoreth (incense) upon it.

30:8(Maftir) And when Aharon lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn ketoreth (incense) upon it, a perpetual ketoreth (incense) before ADONAI (יהוה) throughout your dorot (generations).

30:9 You shall offer no strange ketoret  zarah (incense) thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor Mincha; neither shall you pour nesek (נסך libation, drink offering) thereon.

30:10 And Aharon shall make an kapporah (atonement) upon the karenot (horns) of it once in a year with the blood of the chattat ha Kippurim: once in the year shall he make kapporah upon it throughout your dorot (generations): it [is] most kadosh to ADONAI (יהוה).

And ADONAI(יהוה) spoke to Mosheh, saying:

The Redemption Money estimate $1250.00 The Census Tax

Silver speaks of redemption, which is the foundation of our faith. Redemption is needed by all and is available to all on the same terms

Ki tissa et-rosh benei-Yisrael lifkudeihem venatnu ish kofer nafsho laADONAI bifkod otam velo-yihyeh vahem negef bifkod otam:

When you take the sum of the Benai Yisrael after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul to ADONAI (יהוה), when you number them; that there be no plague among them, when you number them.

Zeh yitenu, kol-ha'over al-hapekudim, machatzit hashekel beshekel hakodesh; esrim gerah hashekel, machatzit hashekel, terumah lAdonai
Everyone subject to the census is to pay as an offering to Adonai half a shekel [one-fifth of an ounce of silver]- by the standard of the sanctuary shekel (a shekel equals twenty gerahs).

30:14 Everyone included among those who are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give the contribution to ADONAI (יהוה).

He'ashir lo-yarbeh, vehadal lo yam'it, mimachatzit hashakel; latet et-terumat Adonai lechaper al-nafshoteichem.
"The rich shall not pay more and the poor shall not pay less than the half shekel, when you give the contribution to Adonai to make atonement for yourselves.

30:16 And you shall take the kapporah (atonement) money of the benai Yisrael, and shall appoint it for the service of the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting); that it may be a memorial to the benai Yisrael before ADONAI (יהוה), to make an kapporah (atonement) for your souls.

30:17

And ADONAI (יהוה) spoke to Mosheh, saying:

The Laver Kiyor (כּיּור)

30:18 You shall also make a Kiyor (כּיּור) [of] nechoshet (כּיּור brass), and his foot [also of] nechoshet (brass), to wash [withal]: and you shall put it between the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting) and the Mizbeach (מזבּח Altar), and you shall put mayim therein.

30:19 For Aharon and his banim shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:

30:20 When they go into the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting), they shall wash with mayim, that they die not; or when they come near to the Mizbeach (מזבּח Altar) to minister, to Olah made by fire to ADONAI (יהוה):

30:21 So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, [even] to him and to His seed throughout their dorot (generations).

30:22 Moreover ADONAI (יהוה) spoke to Mosheh, saying:

How to make Shemen (oil)?

Oil in the Scripture is often a type of the Ruach HaKodesh. The anointing of the Kohenim signifies the necessity for enduement of the Ruach in all divine Service.

"Take the best spices — 500 shekels of myrrh [12 1/2 pounds], half this amount (250 shekels) of aromatic cinnamon [6 1/4 pounds], 250 shekels of aromatic cane,

Exo 30:24  500 shekels of cassia (use the sanctuary standard), and one gallon of olive oil —

30:23 Take you also to you principal spices--- of pure myrrh 500 [shekels], and of sweet Kinnamon (קנּמון cinnamon) half so much, [even] two hundred and fifty [shekels], and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty [shekels],

30:24 And of Kiddah (קדּה cassia) five hundred [shekels], after the shekel of ha Mikdash, and of shemen olive an hin (הין):

30:25 And you shall make it an shemen of kadosh ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the perfumer (oinment): it shall be an kadosh mashach (anoint משׁח) shemen.

30:26 And you shall mashach (anoint משׁח) the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting) therewith, and the Aron Ha Edut (Ark of testimony),

30:27 And the table and all his vessels, and the menorah (מנרה) and his vessels, and the mizbeach Ketoret,

30:28 And the Mizbeach (מזבּח Altar) of Olah with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot.

30:29 And you shall sanctify them, that they may be most kadosh: whatsoever touches them shall be kadosh.

30:30 And you shall mashach (anoint משׁח) Aharon and his banim, and consecrate them, that [they] may minister to Me in the Kohen's office.

30:31 And you shall speak to the benai Yisrael, saying, This shall be an kadosh mishchat (anointing משׁח) shemen to Me throughout your dorot (generations).

30:32 Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall you make [any other] like it, after the composition of it: it [is] kadosh, [and] it shall be kadosh to you.

30:33 Whosoever compound [any] like it, or whosoever putteth [any] of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.

How to Make the Ketoreth (incense)?

30:34 And ADONAI (יהוה) said to Mosheh:

Take to you sweet spices, nataf (נטף stacte), and Shekleth (שׁחלת , onycha), and Chelvenah (חלבּנה galbanum); [these] sweet spices with pure lebonah (לבנה frankincense): of each shall there be a like [weight]:

30:35 And you shall make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the perfumer, tempered together, pure [and] kadosh:

30:36 And you shall beat [some] of it very small, and put of it before the edut (testimony) in the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting), where I will meet with thee: it shall be to you most kadosh.

30:37 And [as for] the perfume which you shall make, you shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be to you kadosh for ADONAI (יהוה).

30:38 Whosoever shall make like to that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from His people.
